Very high anxiety patient here. Dr Fang was empathetic during the initial appointment. Impacted molars needed to come out. He made all arrangements with the hospital and the insurance co so that the procedure could be done using general anesthesia. The hospital staff was great and Dr Fang and his assistant did an excellent job with the extractions. This is just day 2, but the pain is minimal and I'm hopeful for a smooth recovery.

Went there to have a broken tooth pulled. I was never to crazy about having a tooth pulled after hearing horror stories from other people having a tooth pulled.
After the local anesthesia took affect I would say the whole procedure only took about 10 minutes. After getting home I had minor swelling on the cheek which was gone in 2 hours without using cold compresses. I did not have any pain during the procedure or after the local anesthesia wore off. I did not take any pain killers because I never had any pain afterwards.

I’m writing this only a few hours after getting two of my wisdom teeth extracted… Dr. Fang is excellent at what he does. He thoroughly explained the process, the risks and has a great bedside manner. I have very tiny veins and wanted to be put to sleep, when I couldn’t be put to sleep I was extremely anxious about being awake for the procedure… I felt NOTHING. The surgery was completely painless and he let me know after he extracted each tooth that we were making progress during the procedure which reassured me because was just waiting for something to go wrong. Dr. Fang continuously asked me if I was okay or feeling pain. I already feel nearly back to normal and even with my TMJ I’m not feeling much pain after the fact. Absolutely phenomenal. I got two premolars pulled, after a terrible wisdom teeth experience with another surgeon years ago left me very nervous. Dr Fang was extremely kind and calming, had good humor with me while the novacaine kicked in. The extraction took what felt like 30 seconds per tooth, and it seems to have been a very clean and neat job. I didn’t feel any of the pressure sensations I was expecting. Very high anxiety patient here. Dr Fang was empathetic during the initial appointment. Impacted molars needed to come out. He made all arrangements with the hospital and the insurance co so that the procedure could be done using general anesthesia. The hospital staff was great and Dr Fang and his assistant did an excellent job with the extractions. This is just day 2, but the pain is minimal and I'm hopeful for a smooth recovery.

Went there to have a broken tooth pulled. I was never to crazy about having a tooth pulled after hearing horror stories from other people having a tooth pulled. After the local anesthesia took affect I would say the whole procedure only took about 10 minutes. After getting home I had minor swelling on the cheek which was gone in 2 hours without using cold compresses. I did not have any pain during the procedure or after the local anesthesia wore off. I did not take any pain killers because I never had any pain afterwards. I found James Fang DDS work to be top notch and his office Morristown Oral Surgery to be very professional and well run.

I’m writing this only a few hours after getting two of my wisdom teeth extracted… Dr. Fang is excellent at what he does. He thoroughly explained the process, the risks and has a great bedside manner. I have very tiny veins and wanted to be put to sleep, when I couldn’t be put to sleep I was extremely anxious about being awake for the procedure… I felt NOTHING. The surgery was completely painless and he let me know after he extracted each tooth that we were making progress during the procedure which reassured me because was just waiting for something to go wrong. Dr. Fang continuously asked me if I was okay or feeling pain. I already feel nearly back to normal and even with my TMJ I’m not feeling much pain after the fact. On top of everything else, his office staff is very responsive and kind. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fang.

In the past year, I have had to have 8 of my teeth removed, my four wisdom teeth as well as 4 (pre)molars. Both times I have trusted Morristown Oral Surgery to handle taking these teeth out, I do not regret that one second. Both Dr. Fang and Juan are absolutely great to work with and have made both my experiences with extractions incredibly pleasant. If you're looking for somewhere/one to trust with your oral surgery needs, you've found your place. Well well well I had an open eye root removal done in 3 minutes!! Whew and wow. I’m eating Mac and cheese right now!! This staff and facility unmatched!! They gave my little one stickers toothbrushes and sunglasses for entertainment. I tried to stop them during the procedure Dr. Fang was so confident he took away all the jitters and I was done. Yes the care was excellent In fact both Drs were very caring and accommodating I was giving extra care when I told Dr Juan I was scared of needles He asked The nurse to hold my hands at time of injections 😀😀😀 I was giving a blanket to ensure comfort Both Drs keep checking with me often to ensure I was doing ok I was very happy also with the Drs explained the procedure thoroughly I highly recommend both Drs Fang and Dr Juan and this practice in general Excellent job thanks

I was referred to Dr. Fang by my dentist for a wisdom tooth removal which I was very apprehensive took 20 months to finally call for an appointment. I’m 64 and thought all these horrible outcomes would happen but yesterday it was removed. I felt no pain and even today I’m just a little swollen use ice pack on & off for 15 minute intervals. Just had puréed soup for breakfast I’m not even taking the pain pills they prescribed no pain. I would definitely refer Dr. Fang to everyone he’s a wonderful person and his staff are A+. Absolutely phenomenal. I got two premolars pulled, after a terrible wisdom teeth experience with another surgeon years ago left me very nervous. Dr Fang was extremely kind and calming, had good humor with me while the novacaine kicked in. The extraction took what felt like 30 seconds per tooth, and it seems to have been a very clean and neat job. I didn’t feel any of the pressure sensations I was expecting. I’d highly, highly recommend him to any patients needing extractions done. Hopefully I won’t have to have any more extractions done, but if I do he will be my first call.

Dr. Fang was absolutely amazing with my wisdom tooth extraction. My extraction was the day before Christmas Eve. Dr Fang explained everything to me very kindly. Being Black I was scared that I would get mistreated. Not here. His staff are all very professional and reassuring. He was extremely respectful to me and explained everything very honestly and in the kindest way possible. He let me know everything up front, risks and all. Everything he told me was helpful and has been helpful to me during recovery. Extremely talented AND kind surgeon who will take care of you. I got a text the day after to follow up and make sure I was okay. He told me before surgery if anything I can call him Christmas Even or Christmas Day and he will get back to me. I will refer him to everyone I know. Dr. Fang is THE BEST! 5+++ stars
